It’s nice when you wake up warm and happy in the morning, when you have time and notice the birds chirping, when your nose finally clears and you can breathe, when someone you’ve been through a lot with hugs you, when you’re drinking hot tea while listening to the pitter-patter of rain outside, when you first hear Christmas songs playing in November, when your crush says your name, when your skin is clean and smooth after a shave, when your best friend is happy, when someone saves food just for you, when your cat warms up your lap, when you get a new tube of toothpaste, when someone is willing to share their thoughts with you, when your legs are covered with warm sand at the beach, when you’re comfortable in silence with someone, when you think about the good times and the bad, when you feel like writing about things that are nice, when you realize that there are too many nice things to list, and of course, when you go to sleep warm and happy.
